Health Innovation Exchange: Robotic Process Automation and its application to achieve efficiency saving in the NHS

Our Health Innovation Exchange events bring industry innovators and NHS stakeholders together to explore and discuss healthcare challenges

About this Event

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is software that uses virtual workers (robots) to perform and automate repetitive administrative tasks. It allows organisations to offload manual processes and support the human workforce. It can provide organisations with immediate productivity gains, near zero error rates, reduced operational costs, and the opportunity to increase the quality of patient care.

This event is for clinical leads, service directors and managers, digital leads, corporate service and finance directors working in the NHS and social care and for innovator companies working in the field of robotic process automation.

Our objectives for this event are to:

  • Increase understanding of RPA and its benefits
  • Provide an overview of the National RPA Centres of Excellence
  • Identify areas which could be taken forward within Yorkshire and the Humber
  • Identify potential barriers to adoption and possible steps to address these
  • Gauge interest in and commitment to this area of work in our region
