Our CEO Richard Stubbs has become a member of the NHS Assembly – a national forum to help shape the delivery of the Long Term Plan.

The NHS Assembly will provide a wealth of knowledge and experience from national and frontline clinical leaders, patient leaders, staff representatives, health care system leaders and voluntary, community and social enterprise leaders. Richard said: “I’m extremely honoured to have this unique opportunity to help shape national policy at such an important time for the NHS.

“The NHS Long Term Plan is a significant milestone for the role that innovation and technology will play in the transformation of our health system. It places great emphasis on these key enablers as essential drivers in achieving the major shift to prevention and supporting people stay healthy – unlocked by the power of digital.

“We recognise the major responsibility of us as Yorkshire & Humber AHSN, and nationally as the AHSN Network, to support the delivery of the Long Term Plan, and my appointment to this new national body will give me a major opportunity to do this.”
