Richard nominated for Business Leader Award

Yorkshire & Humber AHSN is proud to announce that our Chief Executive Officer Richard Stubbs has been shortlisted for a Business Leader of the Year Award.
The Yorkshire Post’s Excellence in Business Awards recognises top performing companies and innovative business leaders in the Yorkshire and Humber region. The winner will be announced at a ceremony to be held at the Emerald Stadium, Headlingley on Wednesday November 6.
Richard commented: “I am thrilled, astonished, humbled and, grateful to have been shortlisted.
“It’s a privilege to lead the fantastic team we have at the Yorkshire & Humber AHSN as we work with our partners across health and social care, industry and academia to drive the adoption of innovation and improvement into the NHS.
“We’re addressing major health and care challenges in the region, supporting all our members to develop plans to deliver NHS England’s vision for effective and efficient health for the region’s citizens.”
The Business Leader of the Year Award shortlist was drawn up after a marathon judging session at The Yorkshire Post’s head office in Leeds.
The judging panel consisted of; Jonathan Byrne – business banking distribution director at CYBG, Mark Casci – YP Business Editor, Jon Garner – head of region for Yorkshire and North East at LDC, Juliette Healey – agent at the Bank Of England and Dan Rosinke – partner at Grant Thornton.
This year’s presentation event will be hosted by Channel 4 news presenter Cathy Newman.
