New IIT Funding Awards – applications now open

The NIHR Clinical Research Network is excited to launch its first Investigator Initiated Commercially Funded Research Studies (IIT) Awards.
This opportunity offers five awards of £5,000 each to support applicants from Yorkshire and the Humber to develop and lead on an Investigator Initiated Trial (IIT), as well as providing practical support to help achieve Clinical Research Network (CRN) Portfolio status.
Through these awards, NIHR CRN Yorkshire and Humber aims to increase the number of IIT studies in the region and support the development of new chief investigators.
Applications are open to anyone involved in health or social care research and can be made via an online form. The application requires details of the proposal and how it meets the criteria. Further information and guidance can be found here.
