Designing Better Health Services: Leading with People and Neighbourhoods

Join Health Innovation Yorkshire and Humber for this practical, insight-driven session exploring how meaningful patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) can support transformation across Yorkshire and Humber and beyond.

As the NHS and Social Care moves towards greater neighbourhood-based care and patients taking a more active role in managing their health, authentic engagement and co-production are no longer optional, they are essential. This 90-minute virtual event brings together system leaders, clinicians, innovators, VCSE organisations and people with lived experience to showcase how patient and public voices are influencing real-world service design, innovation adoption and decision-making.

Through regional case studies, lived experience perspectives and practical tools, the session will highlight the impact of doing involvement well and how the Health Innovation Network Patient Insight Framework can support robust, collaborative adoption and implementation of innovation.
