Know Your Numbers Week events

4th- 10th September is Know Your Numbers Week, a national campaign from Blood Pressure UK to help raise awareness of the risk factors of hypertension and understanding what the numbers mean.

This year, the Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network along with West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership is running a series of online events to help raise awareness of understanding blood pressure readings.

Know Your Numbers Week webinar

In the first webinar for Know Your Numbers Week you will hear from CVD Prevention Clinical Lead for West Yorkshire Emily Turner.

The event takes place on Tuesday 5 September and will focus on managing hypertension in specific groups of patients, with other long term conditions such as diabetes, frailty, heart disease and/or kidney disease.

Community webinar – Know Your Numbers Week

On Thursday 7 September, we will be hosting a second Know Your Numbers Week webinar with a focus on the wider community. Members of the public are encouraged to attend.
