Supporting health inequalities with innovation
Yorkshire & Humber AHSN and Wessex AHSN are holding a joint webinar to raise awareness of the AAC Healthcare Innovation Programme (InHIP).
About this event
The Accelerated Access Collaborative recently launched their Healthcare Innovation Programme (InHIP) to promote the adoption of innovations which address health inequalities outlined in the Core20PLUS5 agenda. Through the programme, Integrated Care Boards will receive support from their local Academic Health Science Network in selecting and implementing technologies from a NICE approved list of innovations to meet the Core20PLUS5 clinical areas of:
- Maternity
- Severe mental illness
- Chronis respiratory disease
- Early cancer diagnosis
- Hypertension case findings
In response to the launch of this strategy, the Yorkshire & Humber AHSN and Wessex AHSN are holding a joint webinar to raise awareness of the strategy, to explain the support that is available from the AHSN in implementing innovation, and to highlight innovations which address health inequalities.
The event is being held in conjunction with a horizon scan of innovations which can support each of the Core20PLUS5 clinical areas. A link to this will be available shortly.
This webinar intends to bring together NHS colleagues involved in the implementation of innovation, improvement strategy, and health inequalities. Regrettably, SMEs are not an intended audience of this webinar.
