Networking Series Event 1: Connecting the Cluster
Join us for the first event in a three-part networking series, in partnership with the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, designed to foster collaboration across the York & North Yorkshire Health & Life Sciences Business Cluster, improve visibility of available support, and strengthen connections across the cluster.
This opening session will take place in York and will bring together health and life sciences businesses and innovators from across the UK who are interested in working in York and North Yorkshire, along with stakeholders from across the region’s health and life sciences ecosystem, to explore the infrastructure, assets and ecosystem support available across York & North Yorkshire for health and life sciences businesses.
What to expect
Attendees will hear from a range of regional organisations supporting innovation and growth within the health and life sciences sector, alongside insights into the infrastructure, assets and support available within York and North Yorkshire. The event will also involve a facilitated networking workshop to directly connect health & life science businesses to the relevant stakeholders based on their stage and needs.

This is the first event in a three-part networking series taking place across York and North Yorkshire, with upcoming events in Harrogate and Skipton focusing on collaboration and partnerships to support innovation, and access to finance.
This networking series is part of a wider project between Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber and the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority, to foster greater collaboration, improve outward visibility of the York and North Yorkshire Health & Life Sciences Business Cluster and drive greater investment into the region. The project is supported by David Skaith, Mayor of York and North Yorkshire and funded by York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.
