We have a fixed term or associate opportunity for a Clinical Lead to provide expert clinical support to the delivery of a regional diabetes transformation programme.

This is a one day per week position (7.5 hours), starting as soon as possible and will initially be until the end of March 2027, with the possibility of an extension.

Working as part of the Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber team, the Clinical Lead will offer independent clinical advice and insight to support the adoption of evidence-based innovation and improvements in care for people living with Type 1 Diabetes. The role will focus particularly on supporting implementation of Hybrid Closed Loop (HCL) technologies and engaging clinical stakeholders across Yorkshire and Humber to enable effective, equitable and sustainable change but you may be asked to support other diabetes-related activity if appropriate.

The postholder will act as a trusted clinical ambassador, building relationships across NHS organisations and helping to translate national priorities into practical local action.
