Over the last 12 months, we have supported 50 innovators through our Propel@YH programme and Boot Camps.

Propel@YH is our digital accelerator programme that provides innovative organisations developing digital health solutions with access to a structured course of support and advice aimed at enabling accelerated company growth and increased market presence.

This year has been pivotal for our Propel@YH Digital Accelerator programmes with substantial growth in what we offer. Not only have we delivered our flagship UK accelerator programme, but we have also grown our international offering.

Our Propel@YH impacts include:

• £3.6m innovator funding raised
• £100k investment made into our local economy
• 9 of the Propel@YH cohort were funded through Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust’s Pop Up service
• £100,000 invested into the local Leeds economy

Our Propel@YH Boot Camp programme is designed to help international innovators launch their solutions into the NHS market. This ensures people and patients in our region benefit from the latest health innovations as quickly as possible. Inward investment also bolsters the regional economy through the generation of new jobs created when these companies establish themselves in Yorkshire and the Humber.

So far, we have delivered our Boot Camp to Indian, US, Canadian and Nordic innovators.

Our Boot Camp impacts include:

• 39 Innovators supported
• £90,000 spent in the local economy
• £37m investment secured by the innovators
• 9 companies established in the UK
• X4 Boot Camps delivered – x1 Nordic, x1 Canadian and x2 Indian.
