Applications open for Medipex NHS Innovation Awards and showcase

The Medipex NHS Innovation Awards & Showcase 2026 is an opportunity to acknowledge and promote the achievements of NHS staff members and their collaborators who have developed innovative ideas to improve patient care across the NHS. The competition is now open for NHS-led innovation and Industry-led entries from across the UK.
Entries will be accepted into the following 5 categories including a New Industry-led category this year.
NHS-led categories:
- Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve patient outcomes
- Improved treatments, therapies and rehabilitation
- Delivering benefits through diagnosis and screening
- Process and systems innovations
New – Industry-led category – Addressing Patient Safety Challenges –
Entries must be led by an SME who can demonstrate some engagement with an NHS or social care organisation, and address an unmet patient safety need.
