Our new Propel@YH podcast series discusses the latest breakthroughs in HealthTech. We hear from visionary leaders shaping the industry and explore how cutting-edge solutions are improving patient care, wellness and access to healthcare. 

All the innovators on our podcasts have taken part in our Propel@YH programme – our digital health accelerator that gives SMEs the knowledge and guidance needed to spread their innovations into the NHS for the benefit of the region’s population.

In our first episode we speak to Founder Amanda Haigh from Fix Your Future. Fix Your Future  focuses on empowering women, men and learning disabled adults who have experienced domestic abuse. It supports survivors through the use of innovative virtual reality therapy and self- help programmes, fostering health and growth.

In our second episode we focus on Asclepius MedTech – a digital HealthTech company that has a mission to improve the qualtiy of life and outcomes for patients undergoing lower abdominal and orthopaedic surgery. In the episode, we speak to CEO Michael Morgan-Curran about the innovation Surgfit – a wearable device that collects and records data for surgical preoperative assessment in a patient’s own home.
