Over the past year, we’ve worked with more than 500 healthtech firms in the region, delivering 7,000 hours of tailored support. We have also helped innovators secure 42 jobs and safeguard a further 124 within the region.
Our bespoke support to innovators includes:
- Evidence generation
- Market access
- Adoption strategy
- Evaluation
- Access to finance
Through our triage process, we meet innovators to assess their solution, understand its stage of development, and identify how it may fit within an NHS pathway. This enables us to provide tailored advice, signposting, and coordinated support across our organisation and NHS partners.
Companies supported through health innovation network programmes nationally also reported securing a combined investment of £1.5billion in our collective annual economic growth survey, demonstrating the wider economic impact of our work.
Beyond individual company support, we seek to identify innovators who have solutions that can address local and national priorities. Our assessment and triage process feeds into our horizon scanning programme ensuring that we provide relevant information to NHS stakeholders on solutions that meet their needs.
