We are seeking projects that will support us in delivery of our Green Plan, with potential areas for development including (but not limited to):

• Carbon reduction within healthcare
• Waste reduction
• Anaesthetic gas and Nitrous Oxide reduction
• Models of Care
• Greener primary care
• Climate Adaptation and health

Successful innovations will be expected to demonstrate their environmental impact within the Humber and North Yorkshire region through the publication of an Impact Report required within 12 months of the award.

The award offered to each successful applicant will be tailored to the project pitch, but could include:

• Funding to support activity. There is total funding of £50,000 available to be split between all award winners. We anticipate supporting multiple projects from this fund.
• NHS collaboration to support delivery within the Humber and North Yorkshire healthcare sector

Successful applicants will also receive:

• An opportunity to support green projects and innovations within the Humber and North Yorkshire region
• Flexible support adapted to the needs of your project
• Links to NHS organisations to help understand the implementation of your project within the healthcare sector
• Review of your pitch by local healthcare managers keen to support green innovations

• Applications CLOSE: Sunday 13th November 2022
• Applicant Assessment Panel: Thursday 8th December 2022
  (Applicants must be available to attend a virtual assessment panel for up to 1 hour on this date)
• Awards announced: Monday 19th December 2022
